Preschool Fun with Michigan Animals
For ages 3-5 and their parents and caregivers.

See a live owl! Pet a variety of animals including a snake! Listen to Joe Rogers of Wildlife Recovery Association share stories and information about Michigan animals in this special program designed especially for ages three to five!

Read Off Your Fines!

During Winter Break children through sixth grade have the opportunity to come to one of the following library programs and Read Off Your Fines! For every twenty minutes of reading or listening, overdue fines on any one returned library item will be eliminated (does not apply to lost or damaged items). Staff will read aloud during the first hour. After the first hour, children may read on their own. Free snacks provided. Drop-in any time during the programs. These programs are for reading off children’s fines only.

Auburn Area: Tuesday, December 29, 5:30-7:30 pm

Pinconning: Wednesday, December 30, 5:30-7:30 pm

Congratulations to Cailee Szostek!!
Cailee entered a contest at the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library to win this year's Michigan Reads book The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen.

Similar contests were held at all locations of the Bay County Library System to celebrate Michigan Reads, a program highlighting the importance of early childhood literacy by focusing on a picture book by a Michigan author.
