This database combines biographies from Gale Group sources. It also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search. Please note that our contract with the vendor provides for a limited number of simultaneous users for this database and it is available only in a library branch.

Biography and Genealogy Master Index
This database is a first stop index tool for learning where to look for biographical material on people from all time periods, geographical locations and fields of endeavor. Indexes any print product that includes biographical information on multiple persons. It also acts as an index to other indexes. It is an index only. It does not provide full-text articles. |

Provides two databases: 1) A Business Database with directory information for 12 million U.S. businesses including : business name, address, phone number, number of employees range, sales volume range, subsidieries, key executive, a "credit rating code", ticker symbol, primary SIC code, etc. Searchable by any of these "fields"; and 2) a Residential Database with 120 million U.S. households. |

iPac: Bay County Library System's Online Catalog
Our online catalog is provided through our membership in the Valley Library Consortium. It lists the holdings (books, compact discs, videos, magazines, CD-ROMs, etc.) of 62 different libraries throughout the Thumb, Tri-Cities, and points North, including Saginaw Public Library, Grace A Dow Memorial Library (Midland) and Delta College. Access to the catalog while in the library is available at various online public access catalog (OPAC) stations and from the desktop of selected interent stations throughout the building.
