Join us on Zoom for this virtual program!  The Evening Sessions is a monthly adult program series featuring a fun and engaging mix of presentations, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, author visits, and performances on topics covering the arts, culture, history, science, and more!

MSU Extension - Canning Basics and the Rules of Salsa

Learn about the different canners that are available to use, including the atmospheric steam canner, and what foods they should be used with.  Do you have to use all of the canning gadgets in order to preserve safely?  Join us to find out.  MSU Extension Food Safety Educator, Lisa Treiber will also weigh in on Salsa 101.  She’ll talk about the importance of preserving salsa, safely.  Bring your questions for this session.  Research-tested materials will be emailed to participants after the presentation.


This program will be held virtually via Zoom and live streamed on our Facebook page. Registration is required and limited to 100 devices. Please only register one seat per family. The Zoom link will be emailed before the program.
