Seed Library @ Wirt

In collaboration with the Friends of the Bay County Libraries and Bay City Seed Library, the seasonal Seed Library at Wirt is a sustainable way to share the joy of gardening with our community.

THREE SIMPLE STEPS TO USE THE SEED LIBRARY AT WIRT:

1. CHECK OUT up to 10 packets at a time.
To pick up seeds at another branch, simply call your branch and request the seeds you would like. They will contact you when the seeds are ready.
2. GROW them in your garden
3. RETURN a portion of dried seeds from your harvest and share the joy of gardening with our community!
Please make sure your seeds are clean, dry, and the packages are clearly labeled.

If you need guidance on how to properly dry and store seeds, contact the Bay City Seed Library on Facebook or call Wirt Library at 893-9566 and we will connect you with them.
