BCLS Memory Lab
Library patrons are able to use the Memory Lab equipment to digitize, edit, and store personal media. These personal media items would include home recordings on videocassette and audiocassette; paper items including photographs, letters, scrapbooks, and also photo slides.

Equipment provided in the BCLS Memory Lab includes:

A Videocassette to DVD/Mp4 converter

An Audiocassette to Mp3 digital file converter

An 11”x14” Flatbed scanner with the ability to digitally scan oversized documents and quickly scan multiple smaller paper items (letters, photos, etc.)

A Book Scanner to easily scan bound items such as scrapbooks

A photo slide to digital file converter
The library does not provide free digital storage. Patrons may bring their own USB flash drive to store the digital files created during conversion. The library sells USB flash drives and recordable DVDs.
