Event Details
The Storytellers: World Music & Stories features musical selections, captivating stories, hands-on fun with musical instruments from around the world, a short interactive poem, and a hilarious musical skit.
Live musical accompaniment will feature music and musical instruments from the Caribbean, Western Africa, North America, Australia, Brazil and other countries/continents. Steel drums, didgeridoo, balafone, cuica, m’bira, m’bwataand berimbau are a few of the unique instruments that will be showcased!
This program will take place outdoors on the library's lawn as part of our Summer Lawn Series, following Meet Up & Eat Up (be sure to RSVP to receive a free lunch for ages 0-18!). Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket. In case of inclement weather, we will move inside to the Kantzler Community Room.
