Join us on Zoom for this virtual program! The Evening Sessions is a monthly adult program series featuring a fun and engaging mix of presentations, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, author visits, and performances on topics covering the arts, culture, history, science, and more!

Join Michigan author Stephen Mack Jones for a live, virtual talk about his award winning August Snow series!  Stephen Mack Jones is an award-winning playwright, and recipient of the prestigious Kresge Arts in Detroit Literary Fellowship.  Author of the Hammett Prize, Nero Award-winning thrillers AUGUST SNOW, LIVES LAID AWAY and DEAD OF WINTER. Short-listed for the CWA Steel Dagger Award, finalist for the Seamus Award, and Michigan Notable Book Award winner.  Mr. Jones was born in Lansing, Michigan, and currently lives in Farmington Hills, outside of Detroit. 

A TV adaptation of the August Snow series is currently in the works with ABC, produced and headlined by another Michigan native, Keegan-Michael Key!
