Join Us for the Local Author Expo at the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library!

On Saturday, November 9th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Bay County Library System is hosting an exciting Local Author Expo at the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library. This is your chance to meet some incredible authors from the Great Lakes Bay Region, purchase their books, and chat with them about their works. It’s the perfect event for book lovers and an ideal opportunity to shop small and locally for the holidays! No registration is required, so drop in and meet these talented local writers!

Featured Authors:

  • Nicole Beauchamp: Specializing in Michigan’s haunted history, Nicole is the author of several titles in Arcadia Publishing’s Haunted America series, including Haunted Bay City Michigan and Haunted Detroit. She is also the founder of the Tri-City Ghost Hunters Society.

  • Dominic Thrasher: Dominic is an award-winning filmmaker, public speaker, and children's book author. His series The Adventures of CeCe and the Sheriff brings engaging stories to young readers.

  • Roberto Scarlato: Influenced by classic shows like The Twilight Zone, Roberto grew up with a passion for storytelling. His works often delve into the eerie and mysterious, drawing readers into thrilling narratives.
