The Evening Sessions

The Evening Sessions at Wirt is a monthly adult program series featuring a fun and engaging mix of presentations, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, author visits, and performances on topics covering the arts, culture, history, science, and more!

Evening Session with Randy Kursinsky, President of Mid-Michigan Rock Club.  He will be presenting on a beginner's guide to identifying rocks, fossils and rock like/man made materials that could be confused with natural rocks on Michigan beaches.  Tips on collecting techniques, where and when to collect and laws regarding collecting on different types of properties will be shared.  Those in attendance are welcome to bring a small amount of items for Randy to help identify after.
